Our 5-day Periodic Driver CPC encompasses the total 35 hours which you are required to complete every 5 years. Covering Driver Essentials; Driving Principles; Emergency First Aid & Health and Safety; Mental Health, Wellbeing & Driver Behaviour; and Vehicle Defects & Licencing. This 5-day course can either be completed at one of our training locations, or you can complete this online through an instructor lead program.
Each day the course will start at 8:00 and finish at 16:15. Each day successfully attended will count towards 7 hours of your periodic CPC requirement.

Our Driver Essentials CPC training consists of the general understanding of the rules for a driver who is completing journeys for hire or reward. This will also include looking at tachograph rules and hours, as well as looking at the working time directive. This course is typically run on Mondays. This course can be completed inhouse or online format.
The Driver Essentials CPC will start at 8:00 and finish at 16:15. This will count towards 7 hours of your periodic CPC requirement.

Our Driving Principles Periodic CPC course covers the regulations and penalties around the inability to drive a certain vehicle within its limits. This will include understanding different driving techniques for different vehicle categories and how to demonstrate the awareness of vulnerable road users.
The Driving Essentials course will start at 8:00 and finish at 16:15. This will count towards 7 hours of your periodic CPC requirement.
This course is typically run on Tuesdays.

Our Emergency First Aid & Health and Safety training will give you a proper understanding of how to administer emergency first aid to those who need it, as well as understand the relevant health and safety regulations which must be met in order to keep yourself and others safe. This course can be completed inhouse or online format.
The Emergency First Aid and Health & Safety CPC will start at 8:00 and finish at 16:15. This will count towards 7 hours of your periodic CPC requirement.
This course is typically run on Wednesdays.

Our Mental Health, Wellbeing & Driver Behaviour CPC training provides drivers the understanding regarding the importance of good mental health, and understanding how driver behaviours can impact other road users. You will also discuss types of mental health that can effect a driver, as well as where to find help and resources for these. This course is typically run on Thursdays.
The Mental Health, Wellbeing & Driver Behaviour CPC will start at 8:00 and finish at 16:15. This will count towards 7 hours of your periodic CPC requirement.

Our Vehicle Defects & Driver Licencing training will give you a proper understanding of how to identify the checks to be completed on your vehicle. As well as identifying the coding system on a driver’s licence. This course can be completed inhouse or online format.
The Vehicle Defects & Driver Licencing CPC will start at 8:00 and finish at 16:15. This will count towards 7 hours of your periodic CPC requirement.
This course is typically run on Fridays.

Our Module 2 case study revision gives you credentials to log into our training partner’s, DTS, theory portal, where you can revise for your Initial Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training. Choose from either the Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) for Minibus, or Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) for Category C1, C or C+E.
Your theory revision account will be issued at our earliest convenience.

The initial Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training includes completed Module 4. This is a practical assessment where you must cover the following:
- Daily walkaround checks
- The ability to prevent physical risk
- Loading & security of loads
- Keeping the vehicle secure
- Emergency procedures
- Loaded vehicle dynamics
- Border crossings
- Security procedures
You will cover several real life situations encountered by drivers to aid in your training, helping you feel prepared come your Mod 4 test.
