The Pivot Steer Refresher course is typically a 1-day course which includes both theory and practical training. This course is ideal for those candidates who have certification that is between 3-5 years old. On the first day of training, you will be required to show any previous forklift training certification that you have gained. If you cannot produce any certificates, you will be required to complete a 3-day experienced operators’ course.
After training has been completed, you will be required to complete three tests; a theory test, a pre-use inspection test and the practical skills test. All of these need to be passed to obtain your operators’ card and certificate.

Forklift Truck Training
Driving forklift trucks requires specialised training and instruction from fully qualified trainers. This can help reduce the likelihood of accidents and improve the safety of both drivers and pedestrians. Professional forklift driver training can also reduce truck downtime, racking and product damage. To drive any forklift truck correctly it requires training in a classroom and a hands-on environment, thus ensuring things run as smoothly as possible once the candidates have passed successfully.
What is a Bendi forklift?
The difference between a Bendi forklift and a regular forklift is its design, having a “bend” in the middle between the forks and the body of the vehicle. A Bendi forklift truck, which can also be called a pivot steer forklift, comes with a lot of advantages compared to other types of forklifts, such as: being easy to operate and manoeuvre, good in tight spaces (similar to the reach forklift) and generally being a more comfortable ride than a lot of other forklifts.
