Course Contents
IPAF accredited course with practical training session and assessment covering the safe use and inspection of harnesses
- Recall the Work at Height Regulations and associated legislation, ensuring student is fully aware of their legal responsibilities.
- Select the correct work equipment and restraint systems to help prevent falls from height
- Carry out inspections of equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose
- Confidently select and put on a harness correctly
Once the student has passed the IPAF Harness Inspection & Safety course at 2 Start Training, they will become qualified to carry out thorough examinations on harness and safety equipment used for mobile elevated working platforms.

Here at 2 Start Training we offer industry-leading tuition in order to help students obtain their IPAF accredited Harness Usage and Safety Certification.
At 2 Start Training, we know that certificates aren’t just pieces of paper. When you train for your certificates with us, we’ll cover everything you need to know to about using harnesses safely and correctly.
When working at height it is highly recommended that operators use the correct harnesses and secure themselves safely to the selected equipment. This course will show and teach operators the correct theory and practical elements to ensure you are working at height safely.
This course can be delivered at one of our training centres in Havant, Southampton and Worthing.
