LGV 1 Platinum Package

Our LGV 1 Platinum Package is the perfect course for those who already hold their Category C HGV licence wanting to progress and work towards gaining their C+E licence.

If you are looking to obtain your Class 1 licence, there are two avenues that you can go down, one being to first gain your LGV 2 rigid-bodies licence and gain experience in operating Category C vehicles. The other option is to complete one of our fast track car to C+E courses, which will allow you to go straight from a Category B car licence to a C+E artic licence.

If you want to go down the route of gaining your LGV 2 licence before gaining your LGV 1 licence, you can choose from one of our CAT C training courses, all of which will give you the knowledge and skills needed to pass your practical test. However, if you want to go straight for your Class 1 licence, you will have to complete one of our Fast Track car to C+E courses.

If you complete our LGV 1 Platinum Package, you will be given the skills and knowledge needed to pass your HGV Class 1 driving test and obtain your Class 1 licence.

Once you have gained your C+E licence, you will then be able to operate any Category C vehicles with a trailer over 750kgs.

Furthermore, if you pass your LGV 1 on the first try, you will be given the opportunity to gain either your ADR certification or your HIAB licence.

All of our instructors are either NRI qualified or are working towards the qualification.
