Who is this course for?
An individual who drives a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) for work (also known as hire or reward) must legally complete 35 hours (five 7-hour sessions) of either online or in-house periodic training in a 5-year rolling period. Failure to comply can result in your licence being suspended.
What can I drive with a CPC Certification?
Periodic CPC allows you to operate HGV’s or PCV’s for commercial purposes. This is a continuous requirement and if you do not meet the requirement of 35 hours in the five year window, you will not be allowed to operate for profit.
What will you receive upon successful completion of this course?
Completion of the Vehicle Defects & Driver Licencing course will add 7-hours of DCPC training to your DQC. This will include the topic you have covered, so that it restricts your from completing the same course within the 5-year rolling period.
