This Lorry Loader training covers the requirements outlined by the Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI), so that you can safely use a Lorry Loader with either a hook or brick grab attachment. Completing this course with 2 Start means that you are provided ALLMI accredited training with an accredited instructor.

| Module 7 | Siting the Lorry Loader | Key considerations upon arrival at a deliver site, including typical hazards that might prevent loader operation. The importance of establishing a cordon and checking to ensure the proposed lift falls within scope of the Lift plan before proceeding or reporting to the appointed person for guidance. |

Lorry Loader Requirements
You must have the correct Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) when attending this course. You may also need to gain your Category C licence if you will be transporting the Lorry Loader to different places.
Ongoing Requirements
You must recomplete training every five years to keep your certification for both attachment types. Failure to do so will make your ALLMI accredited certification invalid.
Although the certification is not a legal requirement, it is absolutely essential that you have completed some form of competent training. Having an ALLMI certification solidifies that not only have you completed the relevant training and tests, but your training is backed by an accrediting body who govern the syllabus for this training type.
Test Requirements
You will need to complete a theory and practical test for both lorry loader attachments. This is so that you get the comprehensive learnings and understand all legislations, regulations and safety standards for each attachment.
Further Training
You can upskill and gain your Lorry Loader certification for the Clamshell attachment. You can also gain training and certification for Slinger Signalling.
