Who can apply for finance?

Applicant must be 18 years or over on application date
Permanent UK resident for the last 3 years and either;
In regular permanent employment, working at least 16 hours per week OR
Self-Employed (proof must be shown confirming this) OR
Retired from regular employment (pension proof/income maybe required) OR
Receiving invalidity disability or mobility allowance OR
Married (civil partner), house person living with their spouse who is in regular permanent employment.

Meet the team - Reading

I took my first driving test (Car) in 1972, in 1975 i took the first of my PCV driving test (auto) when i joined London Transport, in 1979 I took PCV manual licence, i spent the late 70s to early 80s driving coaches UK and continent.

In the middle 80s I embarked on a career in Management, I held positions such Warehouse Manager, Transport Manager, Depot Manager and Distribution Manager and it also started my association with that was the then the ILDM (institute of Logistics and Transport and Distribution Management) I still have that association today although I am now chartered member of the institute of Logistics and Transport and Distribution Management, in the early 90s I also took my LGV licences and CPC national/International whilst in Management positions, late 90s saw me move into the training industry, I passed my first DSA qualification (voluntary register) in 1999 and stayed on the register until 2011 ( i am currently in the process of completing this again)

in 2006 i sat a city & guilds in driver hours digital recording equipment course and passed, 2008 onwards I started working mainly doing classroom based training courses, in 2014 I passed my forklift instructor/examiners courses and the same year emabred on a PTLSS (preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector which i passed at Level 4 (with districtions). I also joined 2 Start in October of the same year.
